 | Rob Reese, Head Coach, 24th year Rob spent two years as an Asst Coach ('88-89) before taking over the Head Coaching duties for Lakeside Legion in 1990. ... During Rob's 20 + years in the Lakeside program he has accounted for five State Championships ('97-'01-'02-'06-'09), six Regional appearances, and a 2nd place finish at the 1995 American Legion World Series. ... Rob has also spent the last 16 years as the Head Coach at Issaquah HS where he's skippered the Eagles to three State Titles, ('00,'04,'07) and six Final Fours. ... Rob has been named WIAA Coach of the Year twice ('04,'07). ... He played HS ball at Interlake ('82-84) and college ball at Bellevue CC ('86-87). ... Also coaches at Newport High School, where he joined the Varsity team as an assistant in 2006 after skippering the Freshman for three seasons (1999, 2000, 2002). While attending Central WA University, Chris was a Varsity assistant at Thorp High School in Eastern Washington for two seasons. ...  | Bob "Mitch" Mitchell, Scorekeeper, 38th year Mitch has been apart of Newport High School Baseball and its summer teams since 1973. Has coached at every level at Newport. As varsity head coach ('84-88), led 1987 team to a 17-1 league record and produced two major leaguers, Erik Plantenberg ('87) and Steve Gajkowski ('88). ... Newport's and Lakeside's Official Scorekeeper since 1997. ... Makes tape balls with the best of them. ... Played ball at Centralia CC ('49-50), US Army Team ('54) and WWU ('56). ...
